Pretty close to taking the plunge on one of these now. Has anyone got one?

All reviews seem very positive, one concern is rear seat head room.

in particular 2.0 petrol turbo with dsg.

have about 10-12k to spend any other suggestions?

dont want BMW now as I'd need to spend closer to 15k for the spec plus other half doesn't like them.

Lovely looking but no idea about how they drive. The same as a Golf I suppose>??

Apparently considerably better than a golf. The auto box looks very good also.

Those boxes are gret when working but expensive to fix. DO they have a lifetime warrenty on them so long as it's serviced correctly?

Just been reading apparently the newer 7 speed ones and the older 3.2 engines were problatic 2l turbo is apparently fairly reliable.

DSG boxes I'm told on good authority are to be avoided... Apart from that nice car!

The only DSG boxes I've used are te BMW ones, and They are horrible.

The VW version is meant to be pretty good, though, I believe.

Hi mate,

No not yet! I ended up getting it on the PC its much better with steam workshop but no never finsihed it completely...

Il have to look round a bit more to make sure these DSG's on this model are OK. In terms of driving apparently its execellent all reivews say they are brilliant on the 2.0L its more a question of reliance.

I think autos have come a long way recently and will change a gear quicker than i ever could. I have put up with a 207 67hp diesel for the last couple of years after selling my leon and i am losing the will to live...

Cheers
