nope, no rubbing!

The wheels are the same size/offset/width as the M5 rolled on, the rear of the car came with 15mm spacers for some reason and even with the 9" optional staggered style 66"s the car came on they only rubbed on full compression sealed

Cue corrosion from the inside out.

inside?  the wheels are actually only 15 years old, stamped 99 and are only two piece, and yes probably will be buggers to keep clean!

certainly wont be staying on in the depths of winter, I still have the original 7x15 BBS wheels for the car with some winter tyres for that.

From my experience, split rims always corrode from the inside.

If I trust anyone's opinion on corroded split rims it's Andy, we'll all seen the contents of his bedside cabinet.

not sure about the lights thing, I prefer to keep lights as it came as it is a pre facelift car, and I preffer the narrow grille.

Looks much better with the bbs alloys, rather than the E39 wheels.

Theyre all genuine BMW BBS wheels sealed

I know. I worked in a BMW bodyshop for ten years.

If I had a pound for every BBS ALloy I've restored from corrosion, I'd  be a millionaire.
