Ians special sauce. Walking to walk today I saw someone had shat up subway window.. Puddles of sick and shit all over the place from the night before. This has nothing to do with anything really, just thought I'd mention it as its pretty grim. 

I was in Subway once and there was a drunk guy trying to use the chip and pin machine to make a phonecall. The Asian guy behind the counter did some martial arts stance ready to strike and the guy left under much protest.

Yes in Bristol  however this was near the very rich part.. But so many students here there is always puddles of sick on the street when I walk to work. 

Bristol is like from one extreme to the other. Where I live is full of the worst type of scum you can ever meet. That's why I live here.  yet 10 minutes down the road are all the millionaires with massive houses. Saying that,  a small house with no driveway in Bristol will set you back about £500k if you don't want to live in a scummy area.

Got the bus home for the first time in ages. Mother and daughter at the back near me. Every other word that came out of the daughters mouth was a swear word, mainly fuck. Really loud grime playing out of the speaker. Kept calling her phone a crack head and for it to suck her balls etc. Threatened to punch someone cus they gave her a glance. I wanted to listen even though I was getting upset by all of it. I hate the way English people just sit and take it and I was one of them. The mum was probably in her 20's and the daughter a teen, didn't really look at them. That dirty Bristol accent too is so hard to take...

Saying that, I was born and raised near Henley Upon Thames and had extremely rich friends whos families were most likely just as fucked up,  so its not a class thing.. But the language was bad I have to say. At least rich people are more creative with their words. 

You live near Clifton?

Southmead. Which is the opposite of clifton, but not far away. My girlfriend works in the hospital so it's good to be close. 

I know Southmead, worked on the roads there about 5 years ago when we put a water pipeline in . Cause chaos for ages.

There are a lot of polish in southmead now which at least is a good thing as brings diversity and polish girls,  but I feel bad that they are in a shithole area of such a nice city.

Anything good in the cotswolds? Do t think I've ever been. Sound like it should be full of countryside and old people,  which would suit me. 

Cotswolds is big, and yes there's lots of places for people of a mature nature. Plenty of decent towns too but it is pricey. 

Some nice roads down that way, too. I’ve been Meaning to venture further south on the bike. 

Any recommendations on roads, routes? 

Cheddar Gorge in Somerset has nice scenery.
