Keep.
Skull face?

Is this one of the places you like to dump bodies?
No, it's one of the places I go to get free Mead on the way in.
I have a bottle of mead downstairs, it's lovely stuff.
It taste like syrupy wine, to me. Not sure it's the best stuff but they hand it out at all the English Heratage sites. It's amazing how drunk you feel after two samples on a chilly Sunday afternoon.
I think it's about 15%, guess if you're stuck in a castle you might as well be pissed.
Nice pics BTW. Have you tried doing "proper" HDR with the exposure bracketing mode on your camera?
I haven't. I'm stilly very much learning from scratch. I'm not even 100% sure what HDR is, although I've obviously come across the term before. I've only managed to get out a few times, with my new camera, so still kind of familiarising myself with all the settings.
Ive promised myself I'm going to do one of these in in one courses (photoshop/photography/computer skills) as the one thing that massively slows me down is my lack of knowledge in the computer side of photography. I can get a cracking shot, and mess around with it to a agree, but sometimes the simplest of tasks becomes a brain-ache as I'm not sure why I'm doing.
All the "HDR" effects people put on are a bodged way of doing real HDR, and physically can never be as good. Proper HDR is High Dynamic Range, which just means a better range of shadows and highlights in your picture, which adds real detail. If done properly, you won't even notice it's been done.
On your camera, you have a bracketing mode which takes three pictures (so the camera needs to be on a tripod and the subject not moving). One is normal, one is over-exposed, and one is under-exposed. You can then use computer software to merge the three photos, taking detail from the relevant picture. So basically rather than the white bits being just white, they're white with detail. Rather than the shadows just being black, they're black with detail. Have a read up, it's really satisfying when you get it right.
Looks like I've got me some more reading to do.
I didn't know you could read?
I'm currently on Topsy and Tim go to the dentist. I'll get my rainbow readers badge soon.
